Lipids for Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs)

Lipid Nanoparticles (LNPs) are delivery systems commonly employed in the field of nucleic acid drugs. The LNP technology has been adopted for COVID-19 vaccine manufacture. LNPs mainly contain four components: a neutral phospholipid, cholesterol, a polyethylene-glycol (PEG)-lipid, and an ionizable cationic lipid. Among them, cholesterol is often included as a helper lipid that improves intracellular delivery as well as LNP stability in vivo and the PEGylated lipid can enhance LNP colloidal stability in vitro and circulation time in vivo.

Biopharma PEG is a dynamic science company dedicated to supplying excipients for your LNP formulation development. We are capable of supplying small to large quantities of a rich selection of PEG derivatives and cholesterol with GMP & non-GMP standards for your mRNA vaccine R&D.
