t-Boc-N-Amido-PEG11-Azide (Boc-NH-PEG11-N3) includes both an azide group and a Boc-protected amino group. The PEG spacer boosts the compound's solubility in water. The azide group can participate in Click Chemistry reactions with alkyne, BCN, or DBCO, forming a stable triazole linkage. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to form a free amine, which can undergo amide coupling with carboxylic acid bearing biomolecules.

Boc-NH-PEG11-N3 is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs.
