Biochempeg provides high purity Boc-NH-PEG3-OH (N-Boc-PEG3-alcohol), a PEG linker containing a Boc protected amine (NH2) group and a terminal hydroxyl(OH) group. The Boc protecting group can be removed under acidic conditions. The hydroxyl group can react to further derivatize the compound. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound.

It is a cross-linking reagent. The compound has been used to study novel RGD-like molecules with a tyrosine template. It also can be used to synthesize peptidomimetics that bind to human alphaVbeta3 integrin and inhibit the adhesion of human osteoprogenitor cells to vitronectin with a spacer arm. In addition, it is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of a series of PROTACs.
