Uses:

Mal-NH-PEG4-NHS (Mal-amido-PEG4 NHS ester) linker contains a maleimide group and an NHS propionate. The PEG spacer increases the aqueous solubility of the resulting compound. The NHS propionate can be used to conjugate with amine (NH2) containing proteins, oligonucleotides, and other molecules. The maleimide group reacts specifically with a thiol group to form a covalent C-S bond, enabling the bioconjugation with a thiol bearing molecules.
