mPEG-FITC is a linear monofunctional PEG reagent that is conjugated with a fluorescein dye (FITC). This reagent combines the hydrophilic and biocompatible properties of PEG with the fluorescent properties of FITC. The fluorescein dye has peak absorption at 494 nm and emits light at 521 nm, making it useful for a variety of fluorescence-based applications. mPEG-FITC is commonly used in labeling and imaging applications, where it can tag biomolecules, cells, and nanoparticles for detection and analysis in fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and other fluorescence-based techniques.
