Uses:

mPEG-PCL is a biodegradable, biocompatible and semi-crystalline copolymer with a very low glass transition temperature. Due to the slow degradation of mPEG-PCL, it can be applied to prepare different delivery systems in the form of microspheres, nanospheres, micelles, polymer vesicles, nanogels and implants.
The mPEG-PCL copolymer and its end group-derived nanoparticles can promote the loading of hydrophobic drugs, enhance the bioavailability, be swallowed and escape by phagocytes, reduce burst release, and increase the circulation time of the drug in the blood. Therefore, mPEG -PCL has great potential in the fields of nanotechnology, tissue engineering, pharmaceutics and medicinal chemistry.
