mPEG7-NHS ester (mPEG7-SPA) is a linear PEG derivative containing an NHS ester. The NHS ester can be used to label the primary amines (-NH2) of proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides, and other amine-containing molecules. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.

mPEG7-NHS ester is also a non-cleavable 7 unit PEG ADC linker used in the synthesis of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). ​
