Y-shape-PEG-NHS, also known as 2-Arm PEG-NHS, is a branched PEG derivative featuring a Succinimidyl Carboxymethyl Ester (NHS) group at each terminal of its two arms. This Y-shaped structure allows for efficient and targeted conjugation to amine groups on proteins, peptides, or other biomolecules through stable amide bond formation. This compound is also used in hydrogel formation, enabling the creation of crosslinked networks with desirable properties for tissue engineering and controlled release applications.
