DSPE-PEG-Cy5 is a red fluorophore-conjugated PEG with lipid hydrophobic tails. The Cy5 fluorophore, with an excitation peak at 651 nm and an emission peak at 670 nm, is widely used for protein and nucleic acid labeling in imaging, flow cytometry, and genomic applications. This conjugate combines the hydrophobic DSPE for lipid integration with the fluorescent Cy5, enabling versatile applications in bioimaging and molecular tracking.
