DSPE-PEG-DSPE is a lipid-based PEG derivative terminated with two DSPE moieties. This compound is commonly used in the formulation of liposomes and lipid nanoparticles for drug delivery applications.

The DSPE lipids provide stability and integrity to lipid-based carriers, while the PEG spacer enhances circulation time and stealth properties by reducing opsonization and recognition by the immune system.
